In close cooperation with HU Berlin, Charité, and the Museum für Naturkunde—Leibniz Institute for Evolution and Biodiversity Science, data relating to the scholar busts that were on display in the auditorium of the University of Berlin (Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin) until the late 1920s is being digitally recorded and published alongside new images.

Busts have already been photographed in over thirty locations as part of the project. At the same time, object data is being recorded in a standardized manner and linked to standard data. The goal is to share a virtual presentation of this ensemble that will enable more thorough examination of the objects in research, teaching, and society.
