To enhance the visibility of two university collections and support their public relations efforts, the Digital Network for Collections commissioned a professional photographer. The photo sessions captured objects, and spaces of the Cylinder Seals Collection at the Institute of Near Eastern Archaeology, and the Biology Didactics’ media collection. Both collections are part of Freie Universität Berlin.
The photography was carried out in close coordination with the respective collection managers and the university's collection coordinator, who collaboratively selected the subjects and motifs. Below is a curated selection of photographs that will be made available for future use by the collections.
