The Archive for Hospital Construction of the 20th Century is a special thematic archive. It originated from an initiative of the Department Architecture for Health at the TU Berlin. With the vacancy of the department, the archive has also been orphaned for over 10 years. Various options are currently being explored for the further use of the archive.
In addition to a general overview of the archive's various holdings, parts have been inventoried and a large selection of plans and images has been digitized. The Digital Network for Collections supported TU's collections coordinator Kerstin Wagner in backing up the data stored on computers that are no longer fully functional and making it available for research purposes.
